For a good specification of the filter sleeve to be used one should observe:

Dimensional

Overall sleeve diameter and length.

 

Fixing type

Basically they are spring steel ring fitting, clamp fixing, rigid ring fixing, and clamps.

 

Filter Media

When specifying the filter medium, its thermal and chemical resistance must be taken into account.

There are specific materials for high temperatures (above 130°C) and with different resistance properties to chemical attacks.

Process Characteristics

The specific characteristics of each process such as: humidity, abrasiveness, presence of vapors, hydrocarbons, among others, directly influence the sleeve's performance. For this reason we make use of different chemical and physical treatments in the filtering medium, to make it compatible with your process.
